Privacy policy

Last updated: 6 November 2026

This policy explains what personal data we receive through the clouddynamics.org website, why we need it, who we share it with, how long we keep it and what rights you have. We process data in accordance with Law No. 195/2024 on personal data protection.

Who processes the data

The controller of your personal data is Cloud Dynamics SRL, IDNO 2002004087195. You can write to us at office@clouddynamics.org or call us on +373 60043274.

What data we receive

We only receive the data you send us yourself, the technical data the website cannot work without and anonymous visit statistics. Your name, company and email address are needed so that we can reply; the phone number and message are optional.

  • From the request form: your full name, company, email address, phone number, message and request topic, as well as the language and the page of the website you sent it from.
  • From the calculator, if you send the estimate: your answers to the calculator questions and the resulting estimate.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited. It is processed by our hosting provider to deliver the website and protect it from attacks.
  • Visit statistics: pages viewed, the website you came from, browser and device type, language, country (determined from the IP address, which is not stored) and actions on the website — for example, sending the form or using the calculator, without the data entered in them. The statistics are anonymous: they do not show us who exactly visited the website.

Why we use the data

We use the data only for the purposes below. We do not send newsletters or advertising and we make no automated decisions based on the data: the calculator estimate is indicative only.

  • to reply to your request and agree on the next step with you;
  • to prepare a consultation, a demo or a proposal, including one based on the calculator estimate;
  • to conclude and perform a contract if you decide to work with us;
  • to learn from anonymous statistics which pages are useful and where visitors come from, so that we can improve the website;
  • to keep the website running and secure.

Legal basis

We process data on the basis of:

  • your consent, which you give by ticking the box in the form. You can withdraw it at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before that;
  • steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (a consultation, a demo, a proposal) and, later, the contract itself;
  • our legitimate interest in keeping the website running and secure and in improving it — for technical data and visit statistics;
  • legal obligations — for example, keeping accounting records if we conclude a contract.

Who we share the data with

We do not sell data or share it with other companies for marketing. Data only reaches the providers that help us receive requests and run the website, and public authorities where the law requires it:

  • Web3Forms — the service that receives the form, checks it for spam and forwards it to us by email. It sees the IP address the form was sent from and keeps a copy of the message for a limited period under its own privacy policy;
  • our email provider — requests are kept in our mailbox;
  • Resend — the service we use to send you our replies from the website address. It receives your email address and the text of the reply and keeps a log of sent messages for a limited period, in line with its privacy policy;
  • Cloudflare — website hosting and protection against attacks;
  • Umami — the visit statistics service. It works without cookies, does not store IP addresses and only shows us aggregate figures, in line with its privacy policy;
  • public authorities — only upon a request based on the law.

Transfers outside the Republic of Moldova

The servers of these providers may be located outside the Republic of Moldova, including in countries where the level of data protection differs from that in the Republic of Moldova (for example, in the USA). We choose well-known providers that use encrypted connections and publicly describe their safeguards. By sending the form, you agree to this transfer.

How long we keep the data

We keep data only as long as necessary and then delete it:

  • requests that did not lead to cooperation — no longer than 3 years after our last contact;
  • data related to a contract — for the term of the contract and then for the periods required by accounting and tax legislation;
  • visit statistics — no longer than 6 months;
  • technical data — for the short period set by the hosting provider.

Cookies and browser storage

The website does not use analytics or advertising cookies and does not track you across other websites, so we do not ask for cookie consent.

  • Visit statistics are collected without cookies and without storing anything in your browser.
  • The calculator remembers the currency you chose (EUR, MDL or USD) in your browser so that you do not have to choose it again. This information is not sent to us; you can delete it in your browser settings.
  • Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary technical cookie when it checks that a visitor is not a robot.

How we protect the data

Form data is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Only the members of our team who handle requests have access to them.

Your rights

Under Law No. 195/2024, you have the rights listed below. To exercise them, write to us at office@clouddynamics.org; we will reply within the time limit set by law.

  • to find out what data we hold about you and receive a copy of it;
  • to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected;
  • to have your data erased;
  • to have processing restricted;
  • to receive your data in a structured format and transfer it to another controller (portability);
  • to object to processing based on our legitimate interest;
  • to withdraw your consent at any time;
  • to lodge a complaint with the National Center for Personal Data Protection (datepersonale.md) or go to court.
